Between 6 – 10 November, the Money & Pensions Service “Talk Money Week” is encouraging everyone to Do One Thing that could help improve your financial wellbeing. It doesn’t have to be huge … it might be as simple as checking that your pension provider has the correct contact details for you … or you might decide to talk to your child about pocket money. Once you have decided on your ‘one thing’, tell everyone about it and encourage others to do the same! #DoOneThing
Despite the current spotlight on household finances, talking about money remains a taboo. People find it difficult to open up about money and pensions worries, and don’t access the expert help available to help them find their way forward.
Pension Wise offer free, impartial pension guidance to anyone over 50 that has a UK-based defined contribution pension pot.
